Features of poultry feed making machine

• Poultry feed pellet machines can produce feed for chickens, ducks, and geese. By adjusting die apertures and formulas, they can also process feed for pigs, cattle, sheep, rabbits, fish, and other animals.
• The high temperature and pressure during the pelleting process “cook” the raw materials, improving digestibility and nutrient absorption. Simultaneously, this process effectively eliminates pathogenic microorganisms—such as Salmonella and parasite eggs—thereby reducing the risk of disease in poultry.
• A complete feed pellet machine typically involves stages such as feeding, mixing, extrusion/molding, and discharge/cutting.

The moisture content of the raw materials is crucial for pellet formation. Generally, an overall material moisture level of 10%–15% yields the best results. If the raw materials are too dry, a small amount of water (approximately 3%–5%) can be sprayed to facilitate pellet formation.
